Little Debbie
Meet Little Debbie/Mama Debbie! Deb came to us in January 2024, about halfway through her pregnancy. She was found outside a grocery store with other kittens in tow. The finder was able to locate homes for the kittens, but no takers for Debbie. And then she realized she was pregnant and knew she needed help. So BTV stepped up and brought her in. She had fleas and tapeworms and was a little grimy from a life outside... but she was SO SWEET and SO GRATEFUL to be fed and loved and cared for. The purrs and headbutts and snuggles abound with this precious girl. She gave birth on Feb 26 to 4 cutie snack cakes: Moonpie, Honeybun, Shortcake and Twinkie and has been an amazing mom to them. And now she's ready for her forever family. It's been so great to see her start to play with her babies - she's so funny! She will be getting spayed at the beginning of May and will also be getting some dental work taken care of. Life on the streets were a little rough on her little teeth but we're going to get her all fixed up so her only requirement will be a million kisses and all the snuggles you can handle.

Honeybun & Shortcake
Honeybun was the first to venture out of the nest and she hasn't looked back. Sometimes she plays the role of demure, shy little sweetheart... but foster mom knows the truth. She is a fearless explorer. Playful and bouncy and cute as a button.
Shortcake is the absolute cutest. Shortcake can be a little shy at first, but given a little time and patience, she will be racing around the room in no time. They like to snuggle in laps (sit criss cross applesauce and you'll soon find it occupied by a cute little furball), sometimes playing, sometimes napping, all the time being precious.
These two are bonded and they must be adopted as a pair. The kittens will be getting fixed on May 6 and will be ready to go home shortly thereafter!
Adoption Fee
Our standard adoption fee is $150 for a single cat and $250 for a pair. This fee helps offset our costs for the care, feeding, and vetting of each cat in our rescue. When you adopt from Be Their Voice Animal Rescue, your new furry friend will have had:
Intake Exam/Wellness Checks
Combo Test for FIV and FeLV
Flea/Tick Prevention
Deworming
Spay/Neuter
FVRCP vaccine
FeLV vaccine (often considered optional and not all rescues provide this vaccine, but we feel it is important for all cats)
Rabies vaccine (if the kitten is old enough/weighs enough prior to adoption)
Microchip
Additionally, because all of our cats and kittens are fostered in homes and are not in a shelter, they have had the benefit of dedicated socialization with their foster family. Priceless!
